Just by picking the lift chair would not help you sitting position and help you lift in the right position. Picking the right chair is equally important. The basic categorise of such lift chairs are based on the number of the lift position that the chair offers. 2 positions, 3 positions and the infinite recline lift chairs are available to pick from. By position we mean the foot and the back functions and also the functionality of ottoman is included. The mechanism would be stimulated either by remote control of the button set available on the arm sets. The controls would help to control the ottoman, back rest and lowering or raising the base.
If you usually spend lot of time watching TV or reading newspaper, the 2 positions lift chair is the best for you. The 2 position chair offers 45 degrees recline of the base, making it a perfect one to sit in and watch TV or read newspaper. It’s alternatively also called TV Recline Lift Chair. In comparison to this the 3 positions chair is more horizontal and would literally help you sleep. You could red and watch TV as well. Don’t go as per the number of position that the name states as its a little misleading. As the positioning is quite flexible, you could use the remote and the back and the foot rest would adjust according to your need and as you stop using the control it would get stable at that particular position.
The infinite position is the Cadillac of Lift Chairs. The ottoman and the back rest are controlled by separate motors. The fact that they are controlled by different motors enables perfect positioning for just about anything. This would help the person with the most comfortable posture possible.
Which ever you pick from the above three categories but one thing is sure that you would feel comfortable and would enjoy it completely.
