It is these accomplishments, the development of the character, and the social interactions that keep people playing MMORPG’s. There is always a fiend that needs to be vanquished, a damsel that needs to be saved, or a friend to be made, not to mention the next level which can be achieved with just a little bit more time invested. In summary, online gaming is a good idea for the gaming industry as well as the gamer themselves. There is a lot of money to be made whether it be through casino gambling or from revenue of monthly rates. Socially, it brings people together. More importantly, it’s fun. Because of all of these aspects, the online gaming industry will not only continue….it will thrive.
