There are two kinds of love:created and uncreated. Created love is the love that is part of our emotions when we are born. Uncreated love is God. When God created Adam and Eve, He created them in His own image. They were pure love because God is pure love.

People have a tendency to become relaxed in their walk with the Lord. In order to reach the place where God's will becomes ours, we need to first follow Jesus. Jesus says in John 14:6 ' I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Be grateful to God for your suffering, it could always be worse. You also need to look at your suffering in such a way as to how it might be giving someone else a blessing, like a person that might be taking care of you.

None of us wants to look inward at ourselves and see the bad things we have stored up. We like to believe that we are good people. We convince ourselves that because we do not commit criminal acts that we are good people. We also say things like, " I'm not perfect, I make mistakes".

Most people think they know truth because they went to church, bible studies, read books and received information from sources other than straight from Jesus Christ.

Spiritual Growth: the Spiritual Challenge of Modern Times

Look at the ocean in all of its glory! On any given day the colors of the blue changes. Its white foam swirls and churns producing glorious ripples and peaceful glimpses of imagined mystical creatures under its clear blue crystal waters.

The lawn was filled with briers and thistles. It was like a web spreading out and capturing my once beautiful green grass. How could this have happened? I did everything right!

Many people cannot see God in the world they live in. They feel He is in some far off place, not paying any attention to what goes on in their daily lives. The problems of the world weigh them down, and they cannot see the miracles going on all around them every day.

If God's two witnesses appeared would the churches let them tell people 'what God had to say'? Is the song "My Jesus" correct when it states that Jesus wouldn't be let through the doors of today's churches?
